[SOLVED] Sliders inside content of tabs 2 years ago #96

  • Tobias
Hello,
i try to have an FAQ with some tabs at the top and some sliders inside the articles (as it is here in the faq). The tabs are filled by the articles of a category. Ok so far. Then i try to place sliders inside of the content of the articles, but they are not rendered. How does the syntax look like to accomplish this?
Best regards

I'm also interested in resolving this problem. I want to have articles inside sliders, and the sliders should be inside tabs.

I've put a couple of examples into the FAQ section. See how you get on...

Works fine - but only when "Use native Mootools" is enabled, it seems. Otherwise the output is somewhat scrambled. But it will do for me.

By the way: Am I right that you can only set the sorting order for all defined sliders/tabs in the plugin parameters? If so, it would be nice to have a parameter to sort each slider/tab individually in a future version.

Hi

There isn't a problem as far as I'm aware when using non-Mootools sliders in tabs. Take a look at the FAQs now - I've changed the plugin default and the sliders are now the alternative type, working fine... What the scrambling you're referring to?

I agree that it would be nice to have more options. I've already built a few more nice bits, particularly for the inline mode. The problem with increasing the number of options is that the usage of the plugin becomes quite complicated.

Have a look at the screenshot (hope that works):

I have three slider categories each nested in one tab section, one below the other... I played around a bit and this obviously happens only when the "Expand/collapse all" option is enabled... Maybe this is of any help...
