FAQ Slider - display tables and process plugins in tabs... 1 year, 5 months ago #770

Hello -

I want to use faqslider in tabs mode with the following specificity:

- one of the tabs contains a table
- one of the tabs contains a plugin call (to show a fabrik form).

I've tried 2 approaches:
1) inline: the fabrik form displays great, but I can't include a table in the first tab

2) create a category, containing articles including one with a table and the other simply calling the fabrik plugin {fabrik view=form id=3}. Then simply go {faq cat/tabs}Category name{/faq}. In this case however the table displays great but the fabrik form doesn't display! All I get is the actual {fabrik view=form id=3} text...

Note that for point 2) I've also tried replacing { } by [ ]] to no avail.

How can I get both tabs working as intended?

Thank you in advance for you help

Setup:
joomla 1.5.20
faqslider 0.9RC1

OK, nevermind.

I think writing it down helped me think about the problem more and after doing another search through the forum I found the answer... I hadn't checked the "process content plugin" box in the faqslider config. Simple as that, option 2 is now working perfect.

Thanks for a great extension by the way.

Hi

I've just updated FAQSlider to allow embedded tables without breaking the inline content.

The difference is that you need to specify classes for each of the tr's and td's that make up your inline table. So, it would read something like:

table
tr class="faqslider"
td class="title"
\td
td class="content"
\td
\tr
\table

This means you can chuck any content you like in between those.

It also won't break any of the old stuff you have as if the new syntax isn't found, FAQSlider defaults back to the old system.
