Hi, I have just installed ok, and have been working through the tutorial "Sliders in nested tabs".
Im certain I have everything |EXACTLY) as it says but I keep getting the following error when I click in the menu item.

The current article is in the specified category "general" so processing has been halted to avoid a server crash. Please choose another category
FAQ Slider debugging info:
Access ID = 2, Source = art, Type = tabs, Option = N/A, Category/position = general, Expand/Collapse All = N/A, Nested = N/A

Can you please help, what on earth am i doing wrong !!

Many Thanks
Andy

Hi

Just to test it I have followed my own tutorial and it worked ok with the latest version of FAQ Slider...

The error means that you're trying to include an article inside itself i.e. when FAQ Slider displays the article, it will then display the contents of the category "general" which includes the article. This throws an error in the older versions of FAQ Slider because it will generate a never ending loop and crash your server. The newer versions are smarter and simply don't load that article again!

Depending on what you want to do, the old way (via the tutorial) of creating nested tabs and sliders is hard work. Try the section syntax {faq sec}section title{/faq} instead to automatically create nested sliders in tabs (from the article and categories in the section you specified).

Please also upgrade to the latest release. I have just put up 0.9beta6 which is intended to be a final beta for that version...
