Hi,

I'm using FAQ Slider as tabs on some product pages and sliders on the FAQ's page. On every browser BUT IE. On the tabs part, it indents the first line of every tab. Then, on the sliders part in the FAQ's section, the sliders aren't working at all. They all seem to be crunched into one space and don't respond to clicks.

This is for a client so any help is really appreciated.

PS: I've switched the FAQ's section temporarily to JB FAQ's just to have something that works in IE. Let me know if you want me to switch it back to take a look at it.

Thanks!

Hi

Unresponsive sliders mean a JavaScript error. You must have a script somewhere that is misbehaving - good browsers can often cope but IE is very picky. You need to debug it.

The indentation is a css IE problem. I have not yet found an adequate fix. Does this not happen with JB FAQ?

As far as I can tell it's not happening with JB FAQ. The website is www.blankextremeentertainment.com. I couldn't tell if the sliders were getting indented because they were all squished together.

Let me know if you can figure out a fix for the indenting. It's really annoying the client.

Thanks!

Oh, I thought that you were using JB FAQ to generate tabs too (never looked at that extension before). FYI sliders do not get indented with any extension I have looked at.

The tab indent fix I use is to insert a blank line at the begining of each tab. You can use css to make it very small. Hacky but does the job.

Have identified your js error?

Hmm, yea that fix works, but isn't so great. There's no way to use the text-indent rule, but specify its use ONLY in IE? Because You would just be able to indent the text -XXpx. Or at least something that doesn't require going through each article on your site (this guy has like 20 pages!)

I haven't figured out what the JS error is. Truth be told, I'm not that great with figuring out those kinds of conflicts. I put the site in debug mode and I really didn't know what to do with the output info. Any simple suggestion on how to figure it out?

Thanks for the quick replies btw. I really appreciate it!
