Hello,

I have latest FAQ plugin installed and it works great on FF, Opera, Chrome but it's messed up in IE. Tabs seem to work, tho they don't display correctly, but the slides nested in tabs seem to be expanded and don't show any text, nor do they react to mouse clicks. I'm really at loss here, coz it's a perfect plugin for that section on the site...

Site with problem

Any help is welcome.

Hi

This kind of problem is always a javascript error and always due to other things on a site. If you have a look at the source for your site you can see that you have a few problems:

your site is including two versions of mootools. because one version (mootools.svn.js) is not included using the standard Joomla method FAQ Slider is loading it again as the Joomla application doesnt't know it is already loaded.

your site is including two versions of jquery. the jquery library often doesn't play nicely with mootools. they don't seem to be in compatibility mode...

IE is very intolerant of any errors but better browsers are a bit more intelligent...

Oki, I got the plugin more or less working when I disabled the Joomla! native mootools, but now I'm facing another problem (still with IE)... and try as I may, I can't seem to get my head around it...

The first tab and sliders work as they should, but for some reason, the second tab works vice-versa ... When you open the second tab, then sliders are all open and when you click on then thy will close... they should start closed like in the first tab...

I'd appreciate any guidelines...
