Hi,
I installed Add Key Words on to my Joomla 1.5.18 site.
It generated key words but when I looked at the front end of the site this message appears on various articles

Warning: Missing argument 3 for plgSystemAddKeywords::onPrepareContent() in /home/comealon/public_html/plugins/system/addkeywords.php on line 36

When I disable the plug-in, the error message doesn't appear.
Is there any reason and solution to this,
Regards

Hi

Don't worry, this is just a warning (you can turn them off when you have got your system stabilised). It means that you have a situation where the plugin is being called when one of the standard Joomla variables has not been set. This seems to occur every now and again so I'm not too sure whether it is a problem with different components or whether the Joomla devs have decided that the variable doesn't need to be set in every instance. Anyway, I will make a fix in the next few days. In the mean time, if you have any experience with code simply open addkeywords.php (which you will find in you Joomla folder under plugins/system/) and edit line 36 to read: public function onPrepareContent( &$article, &$params, $limitstart=0 )

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply, I did the changes as to told me, but after that when I enabled the plugin this error message came

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/comealon/public_html/plugins/system/addkeywords.php on line 36

After this I had trouble accessing the back-end.every time I typed back-end URL, only the above message appeared so I had to change the code back to original then I could access back-end.

Now once the key words have been generated and if I keep the plug-in disable, would those key words disappear or they will keep working in metadata

Thanks

Hi

I think you made a mistake - did you cut and paste? You probably ended up with extra characters.

I've put up an RC2 which simply has this one change...
