I am - 1.7 that is. 1.6 has left me feeling fairly cold. I've made some extensions for 1.5/1.6 but it wasn't pretty and the J! code kept changing around...

I'm glad to hear that and I understand at same time:
I'm not a developer at all but this j! transition period is not, for sure, best environment for developers work.
I hope next J! 1.7/1.8 transition will offer a better and stable ambience for developers
